IT Staffing and Services for Telecom Companies
CasperB2B provides IT staffing and services for telecom companies: dedicated network, NOC, field support and software people, plus infrastructure and monitoring work, for carriers, ISPs, fiber builders and telecom service providers that need skilled hands without a long hiring cycle.
We are founder-led and work remotely with telecom teams across the U.S. and worldwide. You get a personal reply within 1 business day, and every engagement starts from a signed scope.
Who this is for
Regional ISPs, wireless and fiber operators, VoIP and unified communications providers, tower and field service firms, and telecom software vendors. Most come to us for one of three reasons: a backlog of network or support tickets, a build-out or migration that needs extra people for a set period, or monitoring that only works when someone remembers to look.
What telecom work is really like
Telecom teams run networks that customers expect to be up all the time. Outages are public, maintenance windows fall at night, and one bad change can affect thousands of subscribers. Work is spread across the NOC, the field, the core network and the billing and provisioning systems. Skills are specific: routing and switching, fiber and wireless, SIP and voice, OSS/BSS software. Hiring for those skills is slow, and project peaks rarely line up with headcount plans.
What we provide
Network and NOC staffing
Dedicated network engineers and NOC technicians who watch alarms, work tickets, run escalations and document changes. See IT staffing and our network engineer role.
Field and support roles
Tier 1 and tier 2 support, dispatch coordination, and remote help for field crews. Our remote IT support engineers handle tickets in your system, under your process.
Infrastructure work
Planning, standing up and documenting servers, cloud resources, firewalls and internal systems that keep operations running. See IT infrastructure services.
Monitoring and alerting
Uptime, latency and capacity checks with alert rules your team agrees on, so problems reach the right person. See performance monitoring.
Software and QA people
Developers and QA engineers for provisioning tools, customer portals, billing integrations and internal apps.
Project teams
A defined group for a migration, a system cutover or a backlog cleanup, sized for the project and released when it ends. See project staffing.
How engagement works
- Fit call. A 15-minute call to learn the role or project, your tools, and your hours of coverage.
- Signed scope. We write down the roles, skills, schedule, access needs and how success is measured.
- Candidates or plan. For staffing, you interview candidates before anyone starts. For infrastructure or monitoring work, you approve a written plan first.
- Onboarding. Your team grants access through your own accounts and change process. We follow your runbooks and escalation paths.
- Regular review. We check in on ticket quality, coverage gaps and open issues, and adjust the scope when your needs change.
When we are the wrong fit
We are not a tower crew or a cable installation contractor, and we do not supply licensed on-site technicians for physical work. If you need people to climb, splice or pull cable in person, hire a local field contractor. We are also a poor fit if you want staff with no onboarding from your side. Every person we place needs access, a point of contact and your procedures.
Telecom IT staffing FAQ
Can your people cover nights and weekends?
Yes, coverage hours are part of the scope. We agree on shifts and escalation rules before anyone starts.
Do your engineers work in our ticketing and monitoring tools?
Yes. They work in your systems with accounts you control, so you keep the history and can remove access at any time.
Can we start with one role and add more later?
Yes. Many teams start with one network or support role, then add people for a project through project staffing.
Do you handle telecom software development too?
Yes. We build and maintain internal tools and portals through our custom app development work, scoped like any other project.
How fast can someone start?
It depends on the role and how quickly you can interview and grant access. We give you a realistic timeline on the fit call.
If you have a network backlog or a project that needs people, book a 15-minute fit call and we will tell you plainly whether we can help.
