IT Infrastructure Services: Servers, Networks, Cloud and Access
CasperB2B's IT infrastructure services design, build and document the systems your business runs on: servers and cloud environments, office and remote networks, storage, identity and access, and migrations between them. It is for growing businesses that have outgrown a setup that was pieced together over time, or that are opening a new office or system.
What we build and fix
Server and cloud setup
Physical, virtual or cloud servers sized for the work, configured securely and patched from day one.
Network design
Firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, VPN and separate networks for guests, staff and devices, laid out on paper first.
Storage
File storage and shares with clear permissions, so people find what they need and only what they should see.
Identity and access
One login per person, multi-factor authentication, role-based permissions and a clean offboarding process.
Migrations
Moving servers, email, files or apps from old systems to new ones with a written cutover plan.
Documentation
Network diagrams, asset lists, admin accounts and runbooks, kept in a place you control.
How it works
- Assess. We inventory what you have: devices, accounts, network gear, servers, cloud services and who has admin access.
- Design. We write a plan with diagrams, a parts list and the order of work, and review it with you.
- Build. We set up and configure, usually after hours or in stages so your team keeps working.
- Migrate and cut over. We move data and users, test, and keep a rollback path until you sign off.
- Document and hand off. You get the diagrams, credentials vault and runbooks, and we walk your team through them.
How this fits with managed IT and cloud migration
| Service | What it covers |
|---|---|
| IT infrastructure (this page) | Designing and building the foundation: networks, servers, storage, access and documentation. Usually a project. |
| Managed IT services | Day-to-day support after the build: help desk, patching, user changes and device care. Ongoing. |
| Cloud migration services | Moving email, files and apps from on-site systems to the cloud. |
Many clients do all three in order: fix the foundation, move what belongs in the cloud, then hand day-to-day care to managed IT. Add IT performance monitoring and data backup and recovery so the new setup stays healthy and recoverable.
What we need from you
- Admin access, or the person who has it, for your current systems.
- A list of the apps and files your team relies on.
- Your plans for the next year or two: new hires, offices or remote staff.
- A window for any work that needs downtime.

When this is the wrong fit
If you have a handful of laptops and everything already lives in the cloud, you probably need managed IT, not an infrastructure project. Not sure? Read do I need an IT person.
FAQ
What are IT infrastructure services?
They cover designing, building and documenting the systems a business runs on: networks, servers, cloud, storage and user access.
Is this different from managed IT?
Yes. Infrastructure work builds or rebuilds the foundation, usually as a project. Managed IT supports it every day afterward.
Can you work with what we already have?
Yes. We start with an assessment and reuse equipment and services that are still sound.
Will the work disrupt my team?
We plan disruptive steps for after hours or in stages, and we keep a rollback path during cutovers.
Do we own the documentation and admin accounts?
Yes. Diagrams, runbooks and admin credentials are stored in systems your company controls.
